Tiger Rhea! FIRST AWARD OF MERIT Judge: Donald Carmody
CH Magna's Rhea v Silber Wald, CGC, TDI, CD Rhea is her fathers daughter. She is strong schnauzer tempered which means she is very determined and willful. But that same trait that made her difficult at times as a young giant to live with, is also what makes her a marvelous working/performing/show dog and sometimes simply hysterical! Rhea loves the ring. In fact, if you walk her on too long of a lead ringside (more than 6 inches) she may surprise you and mortify others by busting to the end of the lead and standing on a tiny Yorkie table with or without the poor little dog on it or in the ring with Collies! She earned her nick name the Ring Rocket fairly. Rhea has incredible drive and at home, while being forced to watch as other dogs are being trained she has earned her other nickname... "The Screacher, The Scream'n Creature!" She is a complete HOOT to live with, but when it comes to work, Rhea is VERY serious and she is quick to tell you that no one else should get to work but her! She finished her championship from the bred by exhibitor class as a puppy just after her first birthday, her canine good citizens award and therapy dog titles at one year and two days of age. She earned her CD shortly thereafter in three consecutive shows with wins or placements in all classes. She is ready for her CDX and has been retrieving reliably to hand since she was 10 weeks of age. We are very pleased with this Titan (Ch. Skansen's Umpire, CD) daughter. She has a beautiful coat, topline, tailset, head, neck, shoulders, short hocks, short backed, and cobby. These, for a start, but the thing that I like most of all about Rhea is how the pieces all fit together - like a work of art. Both of Rhea’s parents had very impressive show records, had OFA excellent hips and are both very beautiful dogs. |

Of course she gets paid well for her excellent work- a squeeky toy or lots of yummy treats (see her little tongue sticking out?) Rhea's Pedigree can be viewed by visiting the sites of her parents.
