OWNER COMMENTS:

October, 2006

I can't believe that Zoom has only been with us for 3 months.  From the moment she walked into the house, it was as though she had been here forever.  We were initially worried about how she would handle the big change from a largely dog populated household to just the two of us for friends. She truly seems content.  She's obedient, quiet (unless she is protecting her new property) and very loveable.  She gets along  wonderfully with our 5 grandchildren (ages 12-3).  She has perfect manners on the leash and the only time we really have trouble getting her to mind is when we are leaving and she's staying home.

I am so glad to have chosen an older dog.  She's housebroken, well trained and socialized without any of the usual problems with puppies.  Would we do this again (getting a older dog)? Yes, if Pat will find me another Zoom!!!!

I think she is attached to me and stays with me most of the day and sleeps by me at night. I love having her to talk to. We had a card party here last night.  We had her in the laundry room where her crate is.  About midway, she just couldn't stand it anymore and started to whine.  Several of the ladies said just let her out.  We all love dogs.  Well I did and she was the hit of the party.  She went to tell everyone hi and then came and laid down by me.  She was perfectly mannered.  I guess she's a "keeper"!!!!

Her nickname Zoom tells it all. Zoom! Zoom! Zoom! And then- there she goes again! She is a beautiful girl built to move and she does so flawlessly. I am very proud of her winning best puppy at the National at just ten months of age like her cousin Surely had done so also the year before. What a thrill!  She is hard coated, cropped ears, and born May 2, 2003. Ironically, she was born on the birth date of the cousin (Surely) born a year prior who also won best puppy in sweepstakes at the previous years National Specialty.
