I am not sure if a natural earred Giant Schnauzer has
ever won an award of any kind at Westminster, but Purple sure is worthy
of any award they hand out. Here we have finished grooming him
preparatory to the event. Watch for pictures and stories in the future.

Well this year it was feathers, others it has been the
chicken, so we cannot complain. Purple is only two and a half (and
natural earred) so he will
go back in the future. He will be at his best at four and five years of
age. If you would like to view the judging at Westminster
you can do so here. But if you want to know more about what dog
shows are all about at that level, you
must read this article. It is too funny, yet an excellent
representation of what it is like at the top. Any Magna fans got a spare
$250,000 to make us famous? Enjoy the article and regardless of the
blizzard, the terrible location of Madison Square Gardens the TERRIBLE
CROWDS, the fact that you can bring illness home to your dogs and the
likelihood of never winning the breed (only the other awards) without
that kind of money, we will probably go again next year. We leave with
awards more often then not. In fact we are all ready planning on 2007!
