After finishing his championship the day before from the 12 to 18 month puppy class, Vader won the breed and a Group 4 placement at the show in Harrisburg. The following day he was awarded the judges only Award of Merit. Not bad for a mere puppy! Vader loves to show because he is around people, gets to run around and is fed treats. He is very clever and kind, yet a fierce protector even when he was just 9 months old saving his hu-Mom from harm one dark night when the two of them were alone together and approached by a would be offender. Vader has the perfect temperament for a Giant Schnauzer. He should be safe, kind, loving... not a liability with a sharp temperament but one of discernment and confidence. We are proud of Vader and pride ourselves in our standards for producing top quality dogs for qualified owners placed responsibly . It is our commitment at Magna Giant Schnauzers to support our dogs for life!

This was Joe and Jamie's first Giant and their first show dog and they really enjoy going to the shows and having a beautiful dog winning in the ring and a great dog at home.

This is a young dog who shows lots of promise but needs time to mature.  His owners show up and do their homework and are on their way to learning to groom and handle. Even when it is not easy, they fight through the challenges and come back the next time on their way to mastering the skill. They understand how to eat an elephant.... One bite at a time!... and they are really progressing because of it. Seems the more patient you are in the learning process the faster you learn.  I am very proud of the dog and the owners.
