Magna Giant Schnauzers Where things are wild and wonderful in a Giant way.
Some of the dogs on this page are currently (3/12/08) available, others may be in the future as we may be releasing others when we decide who to keep. Some are available through our "Special Dogs for Special People" program. To find out what we have to offer you, please contact us by email or phone. * The pictures on this page enlarge when you click them. Riff, Raff and Polly The two medium coated girls are those I have been keeping for myself. I have held on to them both to see which one I favored and I am just now releasing one. As you may know, it has been months since I have updated my website so the one I am releasing, like many other of our dogs in the past is reserved and likely sold prior to being announced as available but I thought you would enjoy the pictures anyway. Polly, their sister is a hard coated girl and she is available. See the pictures of her in the story below. She is a hoot! Endless entertainment and she knows she is special.
This is them too (Riff and Pink.) Notice that my older puppies (these are between four and five months old) do not jump on or put their mouths on people. They also do not run away from us. They think we are interesting, and fun to be around which makes taking pictures by myself especially difficult because they are always too close. If you are wondering how I get so many pictures of our dogs on a regular basis... it is what I do. I am home all day with them and they are my only focus. Most days it is all I want to do. We love that spring is coming! Chrysanthemum Face This is Chrys. We call him that because he has a face like the flower. Once his nose hair growns and the beard hair hangs down he will look normal and not as cute. He was my pick puppy but his bite went off so he isn't show quality but look at him! He is stunning! I am very disappointed that he is for sale. Pink Cadilac Pink is available only within our "Special Dogs for Special People" program. Watch for her in the future. If she turns out as well as she seems to promise, she will be another Magna Superstar! Yes, her ear will stand but right now it needs posting. At just 4.5 months their teeth are coming in and their ears fall. Cropped ears are a lot of work! Fred This is Fred. He stays so close I can seldom get his picture. He is BIG and LOVING! He is five months old. Fred is available. The Monster (A true story.)
Actually, they saw it long before I did. I just thought I would take advantage of the photo opportunity, but saw nothing for a long time. You can see in the pictures that there is nothing visible but they knew a monster was lurking. I honestly had NO IDEA there was a monster in the neighbors field. The girls were gonna have none of this and when the monster finally appeared, black, hairy and though a youngster, far bigger than anything they had ever seen they thought this should just not be. Look at BEAUTIFUL Pink telling that big hairy monster to just find new ground cause she was holding onto hers! Of course they are not aware of it, but there is a fence between them. However, as far as she knows she did her job and kept that cow off of her ground. I marvel at the way they seem to KNOW their role even at just weeks of age. They were all guarding which I love to see but I couldn't get them all in the photos. I love seeing good temperament in my dogs. I want them courageous, but stable so no one gets hurt by over reacting. They were very appropriate ... especially for 4.5 month olds! This is Polly nose to nose with Cow and Beagle. Good dogs! You saved me! Then we all went up to the fence and petted and smelled the cow and all was well. Welcome to the neighborhood "Hank" Beagle and Madam Cow.
